Call for Abstracts

Thank you very much for your support of the APDW2015.
Abstract submission is now open.

The Asian Pacific Digestive Week (APDW) 2015 is to be held on December 3-6 2015 at the Taipei International Convention Center, Taiwan. Organized by The Gastroenterological Society of Taiwan, The Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan, Taiwan Surgical Society of Gastroenterology, and Taiwan Association for the Study of the Liver, is pleased to invite all experts and scholar from whole world to share the exciting and unique experience of digestive diseases with global dimension.

The theme of APDW 2015 this year is Advances in Digestive Medicine, and the Submission has been divided into 4 Areas: Gastroenterology, Liver, Endoscopy and Surgery, with more than 4 subtopics under each area, which defiantly is a golden opportunity to share your research and insights. Now please feel no hesitate and start your abstract submission!

Instructions for Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be submitted in English, including the title, abstract text, author names, affiliations, figures, and graphs. Abstracts must be presented in English.

Structure

Abstract should comprise the following elements, with each beginning a new paragraph:

  • Title: The abstract title should be written in initial capital/lower case form, not all capital.
  • Authors: Authors’ names should be supplied in the surname-last format and should be in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals. Institutional affiliations should be indicated with superscript numbers following the author name.
  • Affiliation: All affiliations should contain institution, city and country.
  • Abstract text: The abstract should be as informative as possible. The abstract text for the original article should include: Background/Aims, Methods, Results and discussion, Conclusions, and should not be more than 250 words. For case reports, the abstract should include an introduction and case description. A word limit of 300 words including acknowledgement, maximum 250 words are allowed if any figures, tables, or graphs are included in the abstracts.
  • Tables: Tables can be included with abstracts and must be cited in the abstract text. The abstracts themselves must be in text, not table format.
  • Figures: All figures should be cited in text of the abstract.

    Abstract submission Process

    Step1: Register online

    Please click Register first to create your personal account by completing all required fields online. A confirmation letter with user name and password will be sent by email.

    Step2: Log in

    Upon receiving your user name and password, please click the link in the confirmation letter to return to the online system and log in to the paper submission area.

    Step 3: Submit the abstract

    Upload your abstract and complete all required fields, such as paper category, paper title, and keyword. After successful submission, a record with your abstract status will be listed on your page and you will be able to upload and revise your abstract. Detailed timetable regarding the submission is summarized below for reference.
